Our fencers joined athletes from 16 different nations at the Malmö International, incorporating the Nordic Épée Championships.

Finishing 51st of 125, Benedict Chambers (FFF) was again our highest-placed fencer. Following V6D4 in the pools, he knocked out Larsson SWE 15-12, but lost to Fagell SWE 15-11 in the L64.

Chambers was closely followed by Paul McCarron (QUB) in 55th place. McCarron managed V6D5 in the pools to draw Lindquist SWE, and overturned the higher seed 15-14. He was knocked out by Gustavsson SWE.

Going V4D6 in the pools Duncan Salter (Pembroke FC) and Scott O'Malley (Pembroke FC) both upset their higher-seeded opponents 14-13 to progress to the L64. Salter defeated Jarl SWE and was knocked out by Tivenius SWE. O'Malley overturned Härell SWE but was eliminated by Malmgren SWE. They placed 63rd and 64th respectively.

Jeremiah Coffey (Cyrano) fell short of the 20% cut and placed 120th with D10 in the pools.

Camille Hindsgaul (DUFC) put in a V4D5 performance in the pools, making the cut to meet Dordevic SWE. Hindsgaul was knocked out 15-12, placing 20th of 36 in the women's event.
