Congratulations to all those selected. The following exceptions were made to the qualification criteria (as stated in the FI Selection Policy):

  • Cadet Men’s Foil: Jake McGillion-Moore – significant senior result from US Nationals considered in lieu of qualifying Cadet Circuit result.
  • Junior Women’s Foil: Keziah Beattie – significant result from Bratislava FIE Satellite considered in lieu of qualifying Junior World Cup result.
  • In the absence of a full complement of qualified U20 fencers, Cadets were selected to vacant Junior places in order of the best result achieved.

Five Nations 2017

The provisional squad representing Ireland at the 2017 Five Nations has been named. This year’s Five Nations will take place in Cardiff on November 24-25.
