Jamie Simpson (Imperial College) was V3D9 in Saturday morning's pools in Stockholm, defeating Gustavsson SWE, Jarl SWE and Nyberg SWE.  Jamie qualified for the tableau but was knocked out 15-9 by Taiwanese fencer Yu-Ting Wu.
DUFC alumnus Maxton Milner placed 18th representing Great Britain.

Our women's team had a mixed morning. Lucy Johnson (DUFC) fenced a very strong preliminary pool, concluding V4D2 with victories over Jonas GER, Altauz SWE, Lacas-Warrick CAN, and Kim GBR. In the same round Rachel Conner (Laszlo's) went V3D3, beating Eriksson SWE, Linderova SVK and Ozer TUR, and Alisha Mullen (UCD) was without victories.

In the seeding pool, all three fencers were V1D5, defeating Asp SWE, Hoppe Montanaro CAN and Smith GBR respectively. The team missed the cut for tableau, with final placings determined by indicators from the second pool. Mullen placed 82nd, Conner 87th and Johnson 88th in a field of 100.
