Fencing Ireland is delighted to announce the continued use of training space in Loreto Dalkey Sports Hall on Sundays from 12PM-2PM.

After the success of the summer training sessions at Loreto, Fencing Ireland has organised the use of the hall on selected Sundays from September until mid-December. This is a great way to take the next step in your training for this season!

The sessions are intended to provide an open training space for fencers. New Fencing Ireland / Pentathlon Ireland coach Radu Andrei will offer a structured element (including footwork and fundamentals) for fencers wishing to opt in; the space will also be suitable for fencers to self-organise lessons from coaches, work on footwork or conditioning, or just get in some extra electric sparring to supplement their regular training.

Our open sessions are open to all Fencing Ireland members, at the cost of either 5EUR per session, or 25EUR per term. As the hall rental is shared with Pembroke FC, FI members attending the Sunday sessions at Pembroke FC can avail of the FI session for free once their class has finished. Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

All planned sessions are now marked on the Fencing Ireland calendar.
