Tim Andrews finished in 45th place in the Cadet Mens Epee in Plovdiv.  With 4 victories in the first-round pool against Saavaleinen FIN, Ke CHN, Seijas VEN and Trucl SLO , he was ranked 43 out of 139 fencers.  In the first round DE (128) he beat Tsokas GRE to progress to the round of 64 where he was eliminated 15/4 by the eventual winner Esztergalyos of Hungary.   Tim’s final ranking was 45th.

Geoffrey Corcoran finished in 92nd place in the Junior Mens Epee.   With 3 victories in the first round pool against Varela FRA, Gaardsted DEN and Bonamigo BRA, he was ranked 92 out of 167 fencers.   He had a bye through the first round DE (256) and met in the 2nd round DE (128) Majgier POL where he was eliminated 15/7.   Geoffrey’s final ranking was 99th.

Both fencers have gained excellent experience at the European Championships in Jerusalem and now the World Championships in Plovdiv, giving them a good base to work on next season.
