Jessica Timlin and Anna Lee competed at the European Cadet Championships today, both reaching the L64 after solid performances throughout the day.

Following the pools, Jessica Timlin was V2D4, seeding 62nd with victories over Rossini ITA and Gulen TUR. Anna Lee was V3D3, winning against Soriano FRA, Ceres MDA and Sanguino POR to seed 39th. Both girls did well enough to qualify for the DE tableau.
Timlin faced joint-second seed Kondricz HUN, currently ranked 8th in the international cadet rankings. She was knocked out 15-5, finishing 62nd overall.

Lee drew Tsybirova RUS, the 26th seed, in the L64 and was also knocked out 15-7. Lee placed 44th.

The European Cadet Championships continue tomorrow, with Kerrie Johnson and Rosie McGonagle competing in Cadet Women’s Épée.
