Pembroke FC's Claudio Sosa represented Ireland at the U14s Babylon Cup in Czechia on Sunday. Claudio was V11D1 across two rounds of pools and knocked out Vrtílek CZE, Kolár CZE, before being overturned in the quarter-finals by Fazekas SVK, the eventual winner. He placed 5th of 55 fencers.
For an 11th year, Fencing Ireland will play host to an FIE satellite in Men’s Épée. The 2017 edition takes place on Saturday 11 November during the Irish Open.
