Good luck to Anna Lee (Pembroke) who is through to the second day of the Challenge CEP Marathon after an excellent performance today in Paris.

In the first pool, Lee was V4D2, seeding 39th of 144 girls and easily passing the first-round cut to 115 to progress to the second pool. In the second round, she was V3D3 and placed 67th, surviving the second cut to 87.

With a combined performance of V7D5, Lee seeded 53rd for the DE tableau. A 15-7 victory over Patel GBR took her into tomorrow’s L64, where she will fence Schiavone ITA in the next round.
