Michael Geraghty fenced his first Grand Prix in Budapest on Friday. Geraghty made the cut with pool victories over Kurganskiy TJK and Fladen NOR, and was knocked out by Torkildsen NOR. He finished 188th of 271.

U23 international James Brosnan (University of Warwick) took gold on home turf, winning Men's Foil at the Warwick Open on Sunday. Kieran Patrick (Leicester University) placed sixth of 26. In Men's Sabre, Michael Jacob (Shakespeare's Swords) took silver in a field of 24. He lost to clubmate Thomas Woodland in the final.
