Bronze for Methodist College’s Sigurdsson at PSFC

Fourteen NI fencers took part in the Public Schools' Fencing Championships in London last week, competing across all three weapons. Warwick Open – results: Irishmen take gold and silver

U23 international James Brosnan (University of Warwick) took gold on home turf, winning Men's Foil at the Warwick Open on Sunday. Kieran Patrick (Leicester University) placed sixth of 26. In Men's Sabre, Michael Jacob (Shakespeare's Swords) took silver in a field of 24. He lost to clubmate Thomas Woodland in the final.
