Today in Maribor, the European Cadet Championships continued with the Women’s Épée event. Kerrie Johnson and Rosie McGonagle were selected for Ireland. The Merseyside Open concluded in Liverpool today, with Salle Dublin’s Geoffrey Corcoran and Northern Ireland fencer Rachel Conner (Laszlo’s) each taking bronze in the épée events. Duxbury sees silver in British student championships

Congratulations to junior fencer Victoria Duxbury who took silver in Women’s Foil at the BUCS Individual Championships yesterday. Alexander fences at Bonn World Cup

Well done to David Alexander at the Löwe von Bonn in Germany this weekend, the fourth World Cup of the season. In the pool, Alexander was V2D4 including two narrow 5-4 defeats. Unfortunately, he missed the cut by just two places and placed 160th of 211 fencers.
